Cassette + Digital AlbumYou find yourself in the middle of a meadow, bathed in fog. You can barely see two feet in front of you. The sky is a light blue, slowly fading into a cotton-candy pink. The air feels cold around you. In the distance you can just make out a silhouette. Is it them? Did they wait for you? You thought you had lost them hours ago. You run toward them, but as the fog dissipates to reveal their form, all that stands is an old water font made of crystal, with something floating in its pool. Its "exorcizes in loneliness" by Leucrocuta, available in an edition of 25 Flourescent Green cassette tapes.

"Training as a classical musician, which I did from the age of 9, meant spending a lot of time alone, practicing scales and exercises. It relieved, but also exacerbated my loneliness. At 20, I was suffering from nightmares about scales, chords, and harmonic progressions working their way to inevitable and terrifying conclusions. Making electronic music freed me from a lot of the restrictions and hierarchies of classical music, but retreating deeper into a fantasy world of sounds was even more isolating. In this world I met terrifying demons, strange women who speak to me in strangled voices through faucets late at night, their long tangled hair reaching down into the pipes and the water in the earth. I have started to wonder, can music throw light onto you soul, when it leads you down darkened and lonely paths? Exorcizes in loneliness - these are my experiments from the past year… as I try to answer this for myself."
